    Finance Operations Manager

    We are looking for a Finance Operations Manager to join our finance team based out of our Elgin/Edinburgh office. 

    Please note that there will be regular travel required to our Elgin office if you wish to be based in Edinburgh.

The Finance Operations Manager is a critical role with oversight of our daily financial operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy of processes, and supporting the team in both professional development and continuous improvements in our approach.

    Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Operations Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to):

    • Oversee the firm’s accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking operations, ensuring activities are appropriately prioritised and carried out following internal policies and procedures, to a high standard
    • Lead, manage and develop the members of the finance team working in these areas
    • Review and develop our processes, procedures, controls & systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations
    • Contribute to wider finance and firm improvement projects
    • Contribute to the maintenance and management of our finance systems and the integrity of the data within them
    • Produce monthly and ad hoc reporting, and key reconciliations, relating to their areas of responsibility
    • Collaborate with other executive functions across the business to support the overall objectives of the firm.

    About you:

    • Effective communicator with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels from across the business, doing so with a positive customer-oriented attitude
    • Strong leadership experience and the ability to manage, motivate and lead the team in a professional environment
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills to support prioritisation of competing demands on the time of the team
    • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ICAS, CIMA or equivalent)
    • A leader of your work and your professional learning
    • Relevant experience in this role at a similar level is preferred

    Candidates must have the right to work in the UK permanently and without any restrictions. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
