Our team of sharp minds have unique skills, talents and aspirations, but we have common goals too and we are looking for like-minded people to help us reach those goals.
Our people drive our success, and our placement students are no exception. With over 16,000 clients across eight services and 14 sectors, there’s always going to be an exciting challenge to push you out of your comfort zone, if that’s what you want. Commercial experience gained throughout your placement allows you to get exactly where you want to be in your degree and beyond.
Our 6 - 12 month opportunities offer you hands on client experience, extensive support to help you achieve your potential, and responsibility from day one. You’ll work alongside other sharp minds to deliver client projects and services.
As well as working on live business projects, you will have the opportunity to develop your interpersonal and commercial skills in an exciting, dynamic environment. We have a dedicated early careers induction experience for all placement students. More widely ,you have access to a fantastic range of professional learning opportunities through our in house Learn platform, the JC Aspire programme and connections to the Moore global network.
You will have the opportunity to foster meaningful professional connections with peers and across the firm. There are plenty of social opportunities to build relationships informally and through organised office events.
About you:
You will be a university student working towards a first class or 2:1 honours degree in an Accountancy or Business related subject. Preferably, you will be in the penultimate year of a degree that offers an industrial placement/ sandwich year as part of the course.
Alongside this you will have a growth mindset and a passion for learning. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and take pride in your work. Good time management, problem solving skills and the ability to make sound judgements are essential along with a can-do approach.
All candidates are required to have the right to live and work in the UK permanently and without any restrictions.
Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process for industrial placements usually takes place in the Autumn of each year to begin the following August. Please submit a CV and covering letter for our review. If you successfully progress to the next stage, you will be invited to an in person interview with a member of the JC team to discuss the opportunity.
Towards the completion of your placement, you will be considered for a permanent position after graduation.
