The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for:

    • Supporting the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment changes, induction, benefits administration and offboarding activity, ensuring a positive employee experience
    • Maintaining accurate employee and Early Careers records, including updating and verifying data in relevant systems, monitoring student progress and assessment outcomes, and producing regular reports and metrics as required
    • Acting as an initial point of contact for Early Careers employees, providing guidance and general study support, and working closely with managers, professional bodies and other key stakeholders to support progression requirements across the firm
    • Overseeing Early Careers administration, including student records, mailbox management, regular monitoring and reporting, and supporting the daily delivery of Early Careers processes
    • Working with the Early Careers team, and other key stakeholders, to support our Early Careers progression requirements across the firm. Strong, in-depth knowledge of all or some of our professional bodies is beneficial (including but not an exhaustive list - ICAS, ACCA, AAT, ATT and CTA)
    • Collaborating closely with HR colleagues and wider stakeholder teams to ensure consistent responses, support employee relations matters, and provide feedback on common themes to improve processes and communication
    • Identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR Operations and Early Careers processes, participating in continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the delivery of HR and Early Careers projects and annual cyclical activities
    • Taking ownership of your workload and professional development, building strong working relationships across the firm and delivering a high-quality, proactive service always.
    • Supporting with the management and resolution of employee relations matters
    • Support the recruitment team with all aspects of early careers recruitment.

    About you:

    • Relevant experience in a HR Advisor, Early Careers, or similar HR role.
    • CIPD qualified, or working towards this, would be advantageous; a degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
    • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to provide a professional, supportive and consistent service to employees, students and managers.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and confidence in maintaining accurate records and data integrity.
    • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel.  Workday knowledge would be advantageous
    • Solid problem-solving skills, the ability to take initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset.
    • Knowledge of professional bodies such as ICAS, ACCA, AAT, ATT and CTA would be essential.
